Noun Project

One of the things I like about icons and symbols is that using them helps getting the idea without having to write more words. Not only that, but it also helps with memorizing. Teachers can use icons in classroom like: to tell the students that the room has a Wi-Fi the put Wi-Fi icon on the wall of the classroom. Teachers also can have the icons on the paper sheets that they give to the students to let them know about how to submit the assignment. For example: if the teacher want the assignment to be typed, he or she might put the keyboard on the paper.
